Third ARTIADE – Olympics of Art in New York 2024

ARTIADE next year in New York – Third “Olympics of Art” invites artists to apply.

The third “ARTIADE – Olympics of Art” will take place from September 28 to October 12, 2024 in New York. After Atlanta in 1996 and Athens in 2004, the art exhibition is celebrating its comeback.

Founder Renate Westhoff is calling on artists to apply: “New York is regarded as the ideal melting pot for artists, collectors and art lovers, New York is the ideal location to revive the globally unifying power of art in the ARTIADE.”

Artists from all over the world can apply to participate in the Artiade until January 31, 2024.

A jury, which will be composed of international art experts, will then select the exhibited artworks according to quality and personal expression. Artists can submit their works via the registration form.

The eleven categories ranging from Paintings, Sculptures and Installations to Photography, Video Art and Mixed Media to Environmental Art, Street Art and Conceptual Art, which includes Digital Art, represent a broad range of art fields.

Applications: “In Athens, 173 artists from 80 nations participated – we are aiming to surpass that in 2024! Since the Open Call opening on July 31st we can already say to have discovered some extraordinary hand-ins. For the artists new possibilities open up to showcase their artistic expressions to the world.”

The ARTIADE Connects Cultures and People

The third ARTIADE remains true to its idea as the “Olympics of Art” to build bridges between people, nations and cultures and to promote dialogue. “In view of the current world situation, a sign for peaceful exchange is more important than ever,” emphasizes Westhoff.

“We want to touch people’s hearts with creative processes and enable people to get to know each other  through art.” From now on, an ARTIADE is planned every two years in a major international metropolis.
