Sponsorships fund each edition of the exhibition. But the institution itself – its legal foundation, its operational capacity between editions, its ability to grow and endure – requires a different kind of support.
Founding Patrons are the individuals and organizations whose contributions make Artiade’s existence possible. Not a single edition, but the institution itself.
What Founding Patrons Receive
Permanent recognition as part of Artiade’s origin story. Founding Patron names are acknowledged across Artiade’s institutional presence – on the website, in exhibition catalogs, at exhibition venues, and in institutional documents – not for one edition, but for every edition that follows.
This recognition is not branding, advertising, or sponsorship. It is an acknowledgment that Artiade exists, in part, because of their contribution. The same principle behind the names you see on the walls of hospitals, universities, and museums built by those who believed in them before they existed.
Why Now
The Founding Patron program is available now, during Artiade’s formative period. Once the institution is fully established and self-sustaining, this program closes permanently. The opportunity to be part of Artiade’s origin story is, by definition, time-limited – it cannot be offered later.
How This Differs from Sponsorship
Sponsorship is a business relationship tied to a specific edition, with visibility, hospitality, and integration tailored to the sponsor’s objectives. Founding Patronage is philanthropic – a contribution to building the institution, recognized permanently and unconditionally.
The two are separate and can coexist. A Founding Patron may also be a sponsor, but one does not replace or include the other.
